Cathy Andrew won the main
prize for being the only one to correctly predict the Parent Red team to score 43 goals in
the Round Robin series.
Thanks very much to the umpires who
gave so freely of their time to umpire under very difficult conditions

A jubilant (and extremely humble!?!?)
staff team celebrate after their narrow victory in The Great Netball Challenge.
Responsibility
Respect
Integrity
On Thursday 29th April, two teams from the students, two teams
from the parents and a superbly talented staff team, entered The Great Netball Challenge
on the school netball courts. The "Challenge" was organized as a fund raiser by
the Parent Club.
Introducing The Teams

Parents White Team
The Staff Team
The "Challenge" consisted of a round robin competition
with each team slugging it out with every other team. The photo at right shows the
Students Gold team locked in a tight contest with the Parents White team.
Some teams spared little expense!
The Parents
White team even secured the services of a cheer leader, shown at left dressed in pink.
But alas !! ........... it was an extravagant waste of money!
At half time in the Students Green vs Staff game, the students
tried valiantly to rally against overwhelming odds. Here they discuss ways of countering
the brilliance of the teachers.
But it was a hopeless task !!
The Grand Final
After the round robin series, it came down to the final
between the Parents Red and the Staff team. The final was a very even affair with the lead
constantly changing throughout. There was much "sledging" from the parents team
to try to put the chalkies off their game. But true class prevailed in the end !!!!
The staff won the match by one goal ! It was a very popular result
!
