The Role of Governing Council The Governing Council  works in partnership with the Principal and staff to oversee the development and implementation of  the Site Learning Plan.  The Site Learning Plan sets out what we value as a school, our codes of practice, our core business and the strategic directions we wish to take to bring about whole school improvements.  A Message from the Chairperson Chairperson Dianne Gordon "This is my eleventh year of involvement with Happy Valley School and inevitably there have been many changes throughout those years: leadership, staff and environmental, technological and educational issues. Regardless of these changes, Happy Valley School has always taken pride in its emphasis on community involvement with programs instigated by enthusiastic teams within. As Governing Council, we continue to discuss ongoing school priorities, goals, budgets  and   policy  development,  with  the aim to strive to maintain the continuity that the community requires and expects.
