During the first term, the students in Mrs. Higgins'
Year 1/2 class learnt about our school values and other
virtues. As part of their learning the students
decided to have a virtues "Day of Love"
on Friday 12th of February.
On that day, the students were involved
in a variety of activities exploring the theme. Each
class member brought a much loved soft toy and lots of
their favourite food to share for a party lunch.
Other activities involved the students in
making cards for people they love, and writing about
things they love to do. The students also visited the
residents at Bethsalem Aged Care Facility. The students
took plenty of Valentine's Day cards to give to the
residents during their visit.
