The "Pancake Queen," a.k.a. Mrs. Sue Higgins, dazzles students with her culinary skills!

On Tuesday 16th February, many classes in our school celebrated Shrove Tuesday.

In Mrs. Higgins' class, the students made pancakes. Here is one student's account of  this special occasion:-

"We made pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Mrs. Higgins is the pancake queen! We wrote a procedural text for how to make pancakes. It was tricky because Mrs. Higgins didn't measure things!"

It's reported that Mrs. Higgins also displayed considerable skill in the delicate art of tossing pancakes. In fact, at the conclusion of her cooking demonstration, several students encouraged her to audition for one of the reality cooking programmes currently shown  on television. Despite much probing, Sue has remained tight lipped about her intentions in this matter.

Although it has been difficult to authenticate any definite offers, reliable sources have confirmed that several prominent television producers have been spotted in and around the school!!   Yeah, right!!  As if!!!

All that aside, two things have been very easy to verify. Firstly the students thoroughly enjoyed their cooking adventure. And, secondly ...... they derived considerable more pleasure from sampling the products of their labour!!
