All parents are invited to attend our 2002 Teacher/Parent Acquaintance Night.
· To strengthen the partnership between parents, staff and students
· To inform parents of the learning program and classroom procedures
· To provide the opportunity for parents to meet and communicate with teachers
It is not a personal interview time. If this is necessary, separate times can be arranged at a mutually convenient time. We have again staggered the times to enable parents to visit all of their children’s classrooms. The duration of the meeting will be approx. 30 minutes.
6.30 p.m. German in Transportables 10 and 2
7.00 – 7.30 p.m. Junior Primary
7.35 – 8.05 p.m. Years 3,4,5
8.10 – 8.40 p.m. Years 6 and 7
The Resource Centre staff, Phyllis Carn and Judy Miller, will be available to talk with any parents about their roles. Separate information time for German has been allocated. Please take the opportunity to meet Tracey Ranaldo (T2) and Inge Liepe (T10).
This will be provided from 6.30 p.m. – 8.45 p.m. but only if parents cannot make alternative arrangements. It will be held in the Resource Centre and specialist teachers and the Principals will provide supervision. Senior students may also provide some assistance. A gold coin donation is requested. Please return the tear-off slip concerning your creche needs if required.
Governing Council is again holding a sausage sizzle in the courtyard area during the evening. Why not have a bite to eat prior to your acquaintance time while meeting the parents on Governing Council at the same time.
